Chris Rock came up with this superb idea for the latest addition to the Saw franchise, The franchise has spawned eight previous movies, so you can expect it to be slightly different from the stomach-churning nü-metal horror of the series’ peak. At the same time, director Darren Lynn Bousman helmed three previous Saw movies, known for their convoluted mythology and terrifying traps, and the original producers are still involved. And Samuel L. Jackson is in it. This could be a wild one.
